Upon initial inspection of the apartment, the following issues were noted:
1. Apartment smells like mildew/mold.
2. Screen broken on patio door (falls off track when you move it).
3. Vertical blinds broken.
4. Air conditioner old and dirty, won't plug in.
5. Soft spot noted on floor at living room / dining room junction.
6. Second closet - no rod; broom, mop & bucket inside.
7. Dilapidated table and chairs in dining area.
8. Broken door knob on linen closet.
9. Mildew/mold in tub; shower curtain rod filthy.
10. Drain not attached in tub; slow drain.
11. Vanity cabinet has a lot of water damage; falling apart; smells.
12. Sink drain does not stop up water.
13. Bathroom wall has a lot of old spackle.
14. bathroom not painted; very very dim lighting. (I'll be showering practically in the dark the way it is)
15. Bathroom radiator rusty.
16. Bathroom ceiling grate rusty, very dusty.
17. No control of water pressure in shower.
18. Old toilet paper tube and paper towel left in sink.
19. Wrong size toilet seat.
20. Cracked bedroom window.
21. Bedroom heater rusty and dirty.
22. Bedroom not painted; dirt on wall; dirty blinds on floor.
23. Kitchen floor peeling up.
24. Refrigerator outside rusty and moldy; inside dirty.
25. Vinyl counter covering peeling up by sink.
26. Cabinet handle broken; drawers not on track - fall out.
27. Electric burners on stove do not fit properly.
28. No rack in oven; last tenants cooking sheet in oven.
29. Kitchen wall filthy.
30. Sink dirty.
31. All windows filthy.
32. Kitchen and common dining room wall not painted.
Sigh!
