First Night Home

We woke up and lounged a bit.  I think we were all exhausted from yesterday.  Once we showered, Dayna and I picked up Dad to take the truck back to U-Haul.  We were dropping it off at the Toms River location nearer my new apartment. 

We stopped at ShopRite across the highway from my street.  I thought we were getting stuff for lunch.  I was wrong.  Dad was having fun filling up the cart - fish, chicken, pork chops, London broil, oil & vinegar, TV dinners, frozen pizza, frozen veggies, water, soda, milk, iced tea, Coffeemate, ice cream...$150 later on Dad's credit card even though I said I would pay, we left for our new home with a car full of groceries.

After I put everything away, we sat and rested.  Dad read the paper.  He looked in the freezer and said, "Now I feel better.  I know you have something to eat."  Dad tried to change the shower head for me.  he had the wrong size wrench so no such luck.  We'll make due with what's up there for now. 

We brought Dad home and stopped at Mom's for our overnight things.  We then set off for our first night in our new apartment!
